Before placing an order with Linnea’s, please read our terms and conditions below to ensure that you have a pleasant shopping experience and we meet your expectations.

NOTE: DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PRE-CALCULATE THE SHIPPING COSTS! WE WILL UPDATE YOUR ORDER WITH THE PROPER SHIPPING CHARGES AFTER PACKAGING YOUR ITEMS FOR SAFE SHIPPING.

Warehouse Hours

8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are closed all national holidays.

Minimum Order

$150 before shipping/freight charges and $150.00 for pick-up orders.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors due to miscalculations on our website or wrong quantity discount calculations.

Ordering Methods

We accept online and fax orders 24 hours a day.

Orders Cannot Be Accepted If

Your account shows overdue invoices or your account is over its credit limit.

COD Shipments

Linnea’s no longer ships COD. Orders must be paid with a credit card unless you have established a Net 30 day account.

Payment Methods

All orders must be paid in U.S. Dollars (USD). We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Checks

We do not accept 2nd or 3rd party checks. We also do not accept postdated checks.

NSF Checks

A charge of $25.00 will be added to your account each time a check is returned and unpaid.

Repeat NSF checks will result in a credit-card-only account status.

Interest

2% per month will be charged on a delinquent account.

Numbers

Please provide your customer number and Linnea’s stock numbers when ordering. This will greatly reduce the chance of errors on your order.

Product Availability

We try to have items in stock when you call. Please ask if there is an item that you are particularly in need of. If we are out of a specific item, we recommend you have it back ordered and we will call you when the product comes in. Out-of-stock items are not automatically back-ordered.

Special Orders

An order will be considered a special order if the item is something we do not currently stock, if it states that it is a special order item or if the quantity ordered considerably exceeds our normal inventory level. Special order items require a 100% prepayment to place the order.

Back-Orders

We prefer that only case items be back-ordered, but in cases where there are large quantities of items missing, we will make back orders at our discretion. Out-of-stock items are not automatically back-ordered.

Air Packages

If you request a package sent by Air, it will require a credit card. This is for accounts with Net30 as well.

Delivery Time

Transit times for shipping are not guaranteed unless an expedited or guaranteed shipping method is selected. If you require a guaranteed delivery date please contact us for options.

Discrepancies

Any discrepancies must be reported to our office within 10 days of receiving your merchandise. Please check the shipping carton and packing material closely, since small items can be easily overlooked. Be sure to check all boxes.

Credits

Credits will be issued by Linnea’s in the form of a credit memo after the receipt of the return, or after claim for damaged merchandise has been approved. Both need prior authorization from Linnea’s.

Returns

No returns will be accepted unless first authorized by Linnea’s Inc. Requests for returns must be made within 10 days of receiving the merchandise. With the return, please include a copy of the invoice, a brief description for the return and the name of the person who authorized your return. Seasonal and food items are not subject for return.

Freight Damages or Shortages

All shipments leave our dock in perfect condition. The number of boxes and pallets is noted on the Bill of Lading. All shipments MUST be inspected for damage or incorrect box count BEFORE signing. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the pallet. A Bill of Lading is a legal document and if signed without noted damages or shortages the shipment is considered accepted and a claim cannot be filed.

Damaged Merchandise

Please call Linnea’s if you receive a damaged product. The shipping company will want to see the merchandise, shipping box, and packing material. Do not discard these items until a claim is made and approved. For freight orders, the delivery receipt must have the damage(s) noted on the BOL in order for the freight company to accept the claim. Please take pictures of the damaged items in case Linnea’s or the shipping company needs them.

Pretzels

Pretzels are inherently fragile. Neither Linnea’s nor UPS takes responsibility for damage. Linnea’s takes extra care in packaging for ship-out orders.

Chocolate & Warm Weather Perishables

Chocolate will ship at your own risk. Paramount Crystals, Alpine Shortening, Chocolate, and other heat-sensitive items should be taken into consideration when the weather is warm. We do not accept responsibility for chocolate shipped during hot weather. UPS will not take responsibility for heat-sensitive items.

Cooler Boxes

We offer Cooler Boxes for your convenience at a nominal fee. Ask a sales representative how many boxes your shipment requires. Cooler boxes depend on weight and the size/shape of the chocolate box. Please remember to request cooler boxes if you need them. Please Note: Due to variations in temperature and days in transit, neither Linnea’s nor UPS can guarantee that chocolate or other perishables will not melt.

Pallet Quilt

We offer Pallet Quilts for your convenience at a nominal fee. Pallet quilts are insulated pallet covers to help protect temperature-sensitive freight. Contact our sales team with questions.
